Flower Farm and Everyday Flower Frequently Asked Questions
Are children allowed at the flower field?
The flower field is an active and working flower farm.

Though we will not turn anyone with kids away, we do not take any responsibility for any injuries that could occur and parents are responsible for their children at all times. Any damage to product or property is at the responsibility of the parents.

We ask that no one under 10 years old use any flower snips on the property.
How do flower subscriptions with Little Daisy Florals work?
Once you've purchased your subscription on the shop page, to start your 2026 flower subscription, please email us directly and we will collect any information from you we may need.

At the beginning of each month an email will go out asking which week(s) you want your subscription for that month.

Deliveries will take place on Sundays unless otherwise pre-arranged.

All flowers will be delivered in a water wrap, which can keep flowers fresh for up to 8hrs. If no one is home when the flowers are delivered, the flowers will be left on the door step in a shaded spot.
How long do fresh garden flowers live after picking?
Most fresh flowers can last 7 to 10 days in a vase with fresh water. The best way to ensure the longevity of your flowers is to change their water and trim the stems every other day, keep them out of direct sunlight/heat or wind (like a fan), and keep them away from ripening fruit, like bananas.
How long do most people spend at a U-pick event?
Though this will vary, most people will spend 45-60 minutes.

Each U-pick event will start with a tour of the field, with an explanation of the flowers that are in bloom, tricks to harvesting, and the process of the event that day.

Many people will then retour the field to start to select the flowers they want to harvest. As people harvest, many people will stop to take photos and capture that perfect IG or TikTok moment.

There is no rush in the field and we are always around to assist you along the way.
Is photography on the flower farm allowed?
We encourage anyone attending a U-pick event to take as many photos and videos as they wish. We do ask that you be mindful of others in the field and do not purposefully photograph others without their permission. We ask that no photos of the house or other structures of the residents be taken.

If you are a professional photographer and are wanting to rent out the field for a photo session please contact us HERE to discuss details and arrange a time.
What type of flowers is Little Daisy Florals growing?
In 2026 we will be growing over 200 varieties and colours of flowers in our garden and at the flower farm. Some of our flowers include peonies, ranunculus and anemones in the spring; cosmos, snapdragons, zinnias, sweet peas, poppies, sunflowers, dahlias, and so much more in the summer into the fall.
How do I get the address to the flower field?
We operate our flower farm on private property, and are very lucky to rent the land from an incredible couple.

As this is private property, we do not advertise the address of the farm. The address of the farm will be emailed to U-pick ticket holders 48hrs in advance. If you buy your tickets within 48hrs of the event, please contact use directly via email to get the address.
What are the hours of operation of the flower field?
The field is only open to the public during set event times. All access to the property is by ticket only.

We grow on private property and ask that you only arrive on property during set event hours or times organized directly with Little Daisy Florals.
